Processing

The Fresh Meats NZ processing plant is located in Napier, New Zealand. We employ 100 staff and process over 250,000 lambs per year.


Our plant is a fully licensed facility with access to European, North American and Asian aligned markets, we are also a Halal approved plant. Our compliance team includes a Ministry of Primary Industries Veterinarian, Asure Quality Meat Inspection staff and our own experienced Quality Systems Management.


We use minimal mechanical machinery allowing us to take a more hand crafted approach and a flexibility that some large producers are not able to achieve.
